Luxury accommodation on beautiful Kangaroo Island
Kangaroo Island has always been a very popular holiday destination. Fortunately, despite much positive publicity, it remains an uncrowded place, even at peak holiday times, so it still feels like one of Australia’s best kept secrets. It is simply a wonderful place to relax and unwind while surrounded by the natural beauty of pristine beaches and coastlines; awe inspiring landscapes; and fascinating wildlife.
At Chambers House the combination of a great kitchen; modern amenities; beautiful linen on fabulous beds; the comforts we desire while on holiday; provides a place we love and like to share. The drive is always with excitement and anticipation and the scenery becomes increasingly beautiful along the way. It takes us about 11 hours, with a couple of rest stops, to arrive well in time to board the ferry at Cape Jervis. The reward of arrival is always worthwhile!

It is also easy to fly to KI via Adelaide, or, as is possible over summer, directly into Kingscote from Melbourne. Car hire is readily available from the Kingscote Airport but we would advise booking well in advance to be sure.
